Start or Bench (Early Edition)?

As has been the case the past few weeks, I'll cover the Thursday game now, and post the rest of this week's games on Friday...

Denver at Houston

Start: Brandon Marshall, DEN - Although he doesn't get much publicity (unless you include the DUI arrest earlier in the season), Marshall has been one of the most consistent WR's in the league all year; he's had at least 65 yards receiving or a TD in EVERY GAME this year. To put that in perspective, look at the players who have not pulled off that feat:

Owens, Moss, Wayne, Johnson, Fitzgerald, Edwards, Holt, Colston, Welker, Houmandzedah.

Needless to say, I like Marshall to have a strong game again this week...
Prediction: 6 catches, 93 yards, 1 TD.

Bench: Darius Walker, HOU - We all know that DEN's run defense is fairly terrible, allowing almost 140 yards per game on the ground. But what you don't know is that in their past 5 games, running backs are only averaging a total of 21 carries for 70 yards per game, or 3.3 YPC. Walker did okay in relief of Dayne last week, but I don't see him having a big game against the Broncos this week... Kolby Smith was expected to run wild against them, and managed just 12 yards on 13 carries. I don't expect Walker to be that bad, but I would be surprised if he has more than 80 yards rushing this week...
Prediction: 17 carries, 68 yards, 2 catches, 15 yards, 0 TD's.
