QUARTERBACK
1 Tom Brady NE (vs WAS)
2 Peyton Manning IND (at CAR)
3 Eli Manning NYG (at MIA)
4 Derek Anderson CLE (at STL)
5 Brett Favre GB (at DEN)
6 Carson Palmer CIN (vs PIT)
7 Donovan McNabb PHI (at MIN)
8 Ben Roethlisberger PIT (at CIN)
9 Jeff Garcia TB (vs JAC)
10 Jon Kitna DET (at CHI)
11 Brian Griese CHI (vs DET)
12 Marc Bulger STL (vs CLE)
13 Vince Young TEN (vs OAK)
14 Jason Campbell WAS (at NE)
15 Drew Brees NO (at SF)
16 Matt Schaub/Sage Rosenfels HOU (at SD)
17 Chad Pennington NYJ (vs BUF)
18 Cleo Lemon MIA (vs NYG)
19 Jay Cutler DEN (vs GB)
20 Philip Rivers SD (vs HOU)
Notes: Excellent matchup for McNabb, who faces a MINN pass defense that has allowed 1,800 yards passing in 6 games, or 300 yards a game. This should be McNabb's 2nd best game of the year thus far, after the thrashing he gave DET earlier this year. Palmer faces a tough PITT defense, but considering that he has thrown 9 TD's in his last 3 games against the Steelers, and the fact that Jay Cutler looked pretty good last week makes Palmer an enticing option. Unless Pennington is benched during the week, this "should" be his last shot, facing a poor BUF defense. I still wouldn't recommend him though... And finally, Brees' matchup against the 49'ers didn't seem unfavorable, until I read that SF is only allowing 15.7 fantasy points to QB's this year, which is among the league leaders...

38 Selvin Young DEN (vs GB)
39 Vernand Morency GB (at DEN)
40 Correll Buckhalter PHI (at MIN)
Notes: Keep an eye on the injury situation in CLE & NYG, as the rankings would change depending on who plays... SJax has a favorable matchup in his first game back against the Browns, but I may have ranked him a bit high - look for Leonard to spell him more often than not... Kenny Watson was the top scoring RB last week in fantasy, but he faces a fantastic PITT run defense allowing less than 10 fantasy points per game. The Bengals will have to rely on their passing game, as Watson will not have too many open holes... I like LenDale White to have his 2nd straight 100 yard rushing game this week against the mediocre OAK rush defense. And with Chris Brown likely to be back, look for Chris Henry to be back on the sidelines... Finally, Marshawn Lynch will continue his pursuit of Adrian Peterson as ROY, with another strong game expected against the hapless Jets. A multiple TD game would not surprise me at all...

36 Marty Booker (vs NYG)
37 Shaun McDonald DET (at CHI)
38 Arnaz Battle SF (vs NO)
39 Jerry Porter OAK (at TEN)
40 Vincent Jackson SD (vs HOU)
Notes: Obviously Steve Smith owners would never bench him, but between the uncertainty at QB, along with a surprisingly tough INDY pass defense makes this a poor matchup for him. He'll get his yards, but I don't expect big #'s from him this week. Not surprisingly, I like Kevin Curtis to have one of his huge weeks on Sunday. He is very inconsistent, but this should be one of the good weeks... Hines Ward didn't miss a beat in his return to the lineup last Sunday night, with 7 receptions. The question is, which Ward shows up this week; the one that had 12 catches for 170 yards and 3 TD's against CINCI in 2005, or the one that had 7 catches for 68 yards in 2006. My guess is that he has another big game against the Bengals... One matchup to watch is NE - WASH. The Skins are only allowing 13.2 fantasy points per game against WR's, while the Pats have a record setting pass offense. Look for Moss to have another big game, but I wouldn't be surprised if Welker and Stallworth don't produce huge #'s this week...
TIGHT END
1 Antonio Gates SD (vs HOU)
2 Kellen Winslow CLE (at STL)
3 Heath Miller PIT (at CIN)
4 Jeremy Shockey NYG (at MIA)
5 Dallas Clark IND (at CAR)
6 Owen Daniels HOU (at SD)
7 Chris Cooley WAS (at NE)
8 Desmond Clark CHI (vs DET)
9 Randy McMichael STL (vs CLE)
10 Donald Lee GB (at DEN)
11 Eric Johnson NO (at SF)
12 Tony Scheffler DEN (vs GB)
13 Greg Olsen CHI (vs DET)
14 Alex Smith (vs JAC)
15 David Martin MIA (vs NYG)
16 Matt Spaeth PIT (at CIN)
17 Chris Baker (vs BUF)
18 Kyle Brady NE (vs WAS)
19 Bo Scaife TEN (vs OAK)
20 Jeff King CAR (vs IND)
Notes: Tough matchup for Dallas Clark, who faces a Panthers defense that is only allowing an average of 34.1 yards per game against TE's. On the flip side, look for Donald Lee to have a big game against Denver, as the Broncos are allowing an average of a TD/game against TE's (CLE is the only other team to allow more than 1/game). And as mentioned by Gusto in this week's Waiver column, Tony Scheffler is a strong bye week pickup against GB, who are far better at defending WR's than TE's...
